Nina van Dyk BSc MChiro DC

Nina van Dyk graduated in 2005 from the world renowned Anglo-European College of Chiropractic in Bournemouth with a BSc Honours and Masters Degree in Chiropractic. In 2006 she completed her Post Graduate Certificate in Chiropractic Practice and was awarded her Doctor of Chiropractic (DC). From early in her career she has also cared for a large number of pregnant and pediatrics patients using safe, gentle and effective techniques to assist in a pain free pregnancy and easier delivery and in 2011 she completed her Post Graduate Masters Degree in Advanced Chiropractic Pediatrics.

Nina was initially introduced to the benefits of Chiropractic care while receiving treatment for an old horse riding injury and saw remarkable results. Since graduating she has treated many patients for a variety of conditions, (many of which started after injuries), such as acute and chronic lower back and neck pain, headache disorders and often elbow, hip and knee pain. Treatment techniques include Diversified, Gonstead, Thompson, Activator, Myofacial release, Sacro-Occipital Technique and Acupuncture.

With Chiropractic treatment we aim to relieve symptoms, restore functional mobility of the spine and strengthen weak or injured areas in combination with rehabilitation programs. The body has an incredible in-born potential, to heal itself when supplied with all the right ingredients for good health and chiropractic care can help to release this potential by improving the movement of the spine which aids with the function of the nervous system. We have helped heal people of all ages, from, new born to the elderly, in a safe and natural way.

More recently Nina has expanded her treatment skills by treating horses with chiropractic care. Concerned owners may call upon a chiropractor if they notice lameness or uneven wearing shoes, unlevelness (especially behind), stiffness on the rein, reluctance in performance or characteristic changes such as bucking, rearing, inability to clear fences or unwillingness to jump. Therapy can be beneficial for improved performance in racing, jumping, dressage and balanced behaviour, improving gait and stride, head and neck posture.

Testimonials

'We were really impressed with the treatment we received at the Hampstead Chiropractic Clinic. The Chiropractor was extremely thorough and very knowledgeable. All areas linked to Matthew's condition were investigated, and we were given excellent advice as to how we might also assist with the ongoing treatment. We would highly recommend Hampstead Chiropractic Clinic's gentle but effective manner and treatment.'
