'My son Tim was delivered by emergency caesarian after great difficulty trying a normal vaginal birth. He was very unsettled and needed to be held constantly. I brought him to see Rubi at 16 days old to see if she could help him. I had taken my first child to see a cranial osteopath in the past so I had an idea of what would be involved. Rubi's approach was very soothing for Tim and I was able to assist in making him comfortable, which made me feel good as a mother. After this treatment Tim slept extremely well that evening and since I have found him be less clingy and can be left alone in his basket for longer periods of time without having to be picked up. My life has been so much easier since taking Tim to see Rubi and I would highly recommend cranial osteopathy to anyone who is considering it for their child.'

'As a vetinary surgeon my job involves stooping over the operating table and occasionally wearing head gear to light the area operated on. I noticed a feeling of pressure at the front of my head some sharp pain over my right ear and a feeling of unsteadiness after a long day in surgery wearing my head gear slightly too tight. The feeling was constant for days and concerned me. My mother recommended a cranial osteopath would be helpful, though I must admit I was reluctant to try. I saw Rubi who explained how compression of the temporal bone could cause these symptoms. The treatment itself was very gentle and subtle. I felt relaxed as Rubi explained why she was using certain techniques, which made sense to me even though I only work with animals. I slept very well that evening and I found that the pressure I was feeling in my head had subsided. I had only one or two moments of pain around my ear that week and after the second treatment I felt steady on my feet and had no incidences of sharp pain around my ear.'
I've learned not to wear my head gear so tightly and that my mum gave me great advice. I would certainly recommend anyone who needs assistance with relief from headaches to see Rubi, she helped me a great deal and the affects were quick to see.

'I have been treated by an Osteopath intermittently over the last year or so for various aches and pains due to previous trauma. I had suffered with a feeling of pressure in my head and banging in my ears for several months, recently I was officially diagnosed with 'pulsatile tinnitus'. After several more investigations I was informed that conventional medicine would not offer any relief or stop my hearing from deteriorating and that complementary medicine was possibly my only option. I had seen Rubina a few times for osteopathic treatment and each time it had helped dampen the constant banging in my ears and gave me relief from the tension I felt in my neck and shoulders after a hard few weeks at work. Rubina felt that a cranial approach would be beneficial for this particular problem, at this point I was willing to try anything. Amazingly, I felt changes immediately during the treatment. My ears unblocked and the radio that was playing in the distance sounded louder. The feeling of pressure in my head had reduced significantly. I didn't want to get off the treatment couch as I thought that the clarity would not last.
To my relief I was able to hear like I hadn't for years, this feeling lasted for days. I had suffered with this for 18 months and had not expected such a drastic change especially after one treatment. I shall continue to see Rubina as I have found her treatment invaluable and I cherish the quieter days that the cranial treatment has given me.'

We were really impressed with the treatment we received at the Hampstead Chiropractic Clinic. The Chiropractor was extremely thorough and very knowledgeable. All areas linked ti Matthew's condition ere investigated, and we were given excellent advice as to how we might also assist with the ongoing treatment. Matthew was soon able to look both sides with ease which was the improvement we sought. He is also comfortable to lie in any position.

'Our Daughter was not yet three when she started to experience severe neck pain while playing. She would be happy playing then just start screaming, crying and holding her neck.
We took her to see the Doctor a few times and it was concluded that it was just 'just one of those things'. It continued to happen periodically. Not daily but a few times a week.
My husband was a patient at the Hampstead Chiropractic Clinic and during one of his sessions, he asked the Chiropractor to have a look at Georgia's neck to see if there was anything obvious.
She noticed that Georgia had restricted movement in her neck and shoulder and was quite 'tight'. We booked an appointment at the clinic and after the first visit, we were advised to try and stop her sleeping on her tummy and to attend a few more sessions at the Clinic. After the first session, the attacks were much fewer and now it is very rare that she has one.
She loves going to see the chiropractor and the reception when we arrive is lovely. Georgia knows everyone and is obviously very comfortable with the staff. She even likes the special 'Helicopter' that is used for manipulation. I would highly recommend the clinic both for children and adults.'
